We do cover prescription dog foods and supplements when they’re used to treat an eligible condition. However, we don’t cover prescription dog foods and supplements for general maintenance or weight management.

Our plans don’t include preventive care coverage, but you can add it on for a low cost. With our two preventive care coverage options, you’ll get reimbursed up to a set amount for services like vaccines, dental cleaning, and deworming. You don’t have to satisfy your deductible before you can be reimbursed, and there’s no waiting period for this coverage to start.

Like most pet insurance plans, ours don’t cover pre-existing conditions. However, conditions that are curable, are cured, and go without symptoms and treatment for 180 days will no longer be considered pre-existing, which means they can be covered in the future.
